This exciting journey of buying our little farm has been nothing short of miraculous. At every turn I find a new reason to be amazed at the series of events that write this story. It's clear that my destiny isn't in my own hands. It's quite humbling to realize this. So, I continue to be astonished at the goodness and love of my heavenly Father.
Heck, even a flock of geese landing on the pond can make me tear up with joy. ( I can be such a baby! ...but they really are beautiful to watch!!)
A lot is told about your life long after you're gone from the earth simply by the love you put into your work. The former owner, a horse-loving gentleman named Rich, had his heart tied to his farm. I never met him before he slipped from this life, but I feel as though I've known him for years. This man genuinely loved his work! It was his pride and joy. From well-placed fences to dutch door latches, the barn perfectly suited his horses. And now perfectly suits our mission to board horses.
I will never underestimate the power of convergence of dreams becoming reality. It sets into motion a drive to work hard, to be creative and to bless others. And those are very good reasons to be alive.
